It is with great pleasure that I present the 1989-90 Annual Report of the Mooroopna Apex Club. It is also my last report of the Mooroopna Apex Club as I have reached the retirement age. I have thoroughly enjoyed my year as President and on behalf of Coral and myself I would like to thank Mooroopna Apex for giving us the opportunity to be members of this fine club.
During my years in Apex we have raised money in a lot of different ways. Some being hay carting, picking fruit, chook manure drive, cutting wood, paper drives, spinning wheels and cooking peanuts. The money that we raised over the years went to worthy causes in the Mooroopna township, and surrounding areas. Now back to the present.
I would like to thank my board members for their help over the past year. To Secretary Rob for a job well done and also Treasurer Clive for a job well done. Probably the low of
the year was that Burnie Apex Club could not send their member over due to problems within their club. Hopefully we will keep our twinning going.
In finishing I would like to wish Mooroopna Apex Club all the best in future years. To incoming President Mike and his board also the best for the coming year.
