It is with great pleasure that I present the Presidents’ Report for 1990-’91.
I have found the position a very rewarding and challenging one, and one that I strongly recommend to all members to partake in.
Thanks must be extended to my Secretary Russell and fellow Board members who have fulfilled their respective portfolios admirably. Vija and Jack must also be thanked for putting up with me never being home, but supporting me to their fullest.
We should also thank Pat Sleeth and staff at the Royal Mail for putting up with us. Thanks Pat!
Congratulations go to new members Tony and Bill and wives, I hope you both get as much out of Apex as I am.
The two highlights of the year were our Debating Team making it into the District final, great effort fellas! And the acceptance by Ken Grieve of District Governor for the next twelve months. We all must support Ken and Robyn in this position.
