I write my second report as a Vice President knowing that it will be my last report as a club member.
My time in Mooroopna Apex has been fantastic. I have made great friends and learnt a great deal. I genuinely believe I am a better person for having been a member of the best Apex club in Australia.
I thank the club and all members, both past and present, for all that they have done for me. It really has been my honour to be involved.
I also thank my wife Lyn for her support and for allowing me to be in Apex.
I wish the club well for the future.
This year was an interesting one for our club.
A major focus remains with our survival. Accordingly we undertook a variety of activities to try to make our club more in tune with expectations of people in the year 2007 and beyond.
This will mean many changes. The club is ready to embrace any new members regardless of gender and is happy to pursue totally different meeting structures to ensure we are as a club, what people want.
Well done to President Andrew and I wish Will all the best for the new Apex year.
I again wish the club well for the future, and I will support whatever direction that members take the club in.
